About Grej Ink
BOOK COVER DESIGN AND ARTWORKING
Hello! I’m Tina and I have been working in publishing and design for over 20 years. My experience includes corporate in-house design, catalogues and print materials for artists and galleries, artist books, puzzle magazines, and custom print work for authors and creative businesses done in collaboration with local printers McRay Press here in Scarborough.
My first love has always been books and creating covers and interiors that match the mood and vision of the author. In addition to bespoke work - laying out the book from text to finish - Grej Ink also offers premade covers for self-publishing authors. This lets me explore creative ideas and offer them to budding writers at affordable prices.
As well as design, I'm also an artist myself and some of my original paintings and drawings feature in my book design work. As a fellow creative I understand how important the look of your book is to you. I also appreciate the convenience of having all the files you need so you don't have to fuss with the digital details. That's why all my premade covers include a full bundle including eBook cover image, wrap-around print design, flat cover image, and mock-up so that you're ready to publish and promote!
Why GREJ? The story behind the name is my grandfather Ray Grejczik [pronounced grey-check]. He was a father, grandfather, great-grandfather, veteran, and artist. With no one to carry on the Grejczik name I decided to dedicate my creative businesses to his memory. Grejzcik Gallery was born first to represent other artists I wanted to support, with Grejczik Books following closely behind as I started publishing artist books, then finally Grej Ink as the design business grew.
